DESCRIPTION

Restless Development,  global non profit agency is looking for passionate and committed young people aged 18 – 25 from across the UK to help the current steering group design and lead in its second year. The organization knows that young people are often excluded from decisions that affect them most and the Young Gamechangers Fund (YGF) is changing this by not only funding youth-led programmes, but through co-designing the whole fund with young people.

YGF STEERING GROUP MEMBERS WILL:

  • Help the current cohort of the Steering Group to continue building the fund, i.e. application building, assessing applications, etc
  • Bring your lived experience and skills to the YGF and ensure the Fund works for young people like you
  • Collaborate with other young people online and in person
  • Be part of creating change for young activists and gamechangers across the UK.

ELIGIBILITY

This year they are looking for passionate and committed young people aged 18 – 25 from across the UK to help the current steering group design and lead in its second year. We know that young people are often excluded from decisions that affect them most and YGF is changing this by not only funding youth-led programmes, but through co-designing the whole fund with young people.

The young people should be:

  •  Living in any part of the UK
  •  Aged between 18 and 25
  •  With an interest in youth-led change (no specific experience required) – this can be in your personal life, your job, in the UK or abroad, as part of a group or organisation, or by yourself – we are excited to hear about what youth-led change means to you!

HOW TO APPLY?

You will need to fill out a short application to be considered for the Steering Group. In your application, state why you are applying and what skills and experience you will bring. Here is the link to the Online application form.
