Description
The “Superhero: good stories from around the world” is a youth exchange organized in Trento, Italy from 8th to 16th of June 2020 for a group of 22 young people coming from Italy, France and Norway.
The topic of the youth exchange is focused on cultural diversity, promoting inspirational stories of social inclusion from around the world.
The main aim of the “Superhero” project is to empower young people to become active social change-makers by acquiring new skills, knowledge and cultural understanding.
During the youth exchange, the participants will get to share their culture and inspirational stories of social inclusion, understand the migration phenomena and design innovative media tools.
Non-formal education is the key!
Here are some of the activities you will do:
- group reflection on the current national and european migration situation;
- storytelling sessions; creative writing, serigraphy, video workshops;
- discover cultural playlists and curiosities from around the world;
- multicultural community dinner at the local independent bookstore Due Punti;
- develop the “Superhero: good stories from around the world” magazine.
Eligibility
This project is for you if:
- You are between 18 – 26/30 years old;
- You are from France, Italy or Norway;
- You are motivated and interested in the topic of social inclusion, cultural diversity & education;
- You want to experience a creative hands-on intercultural exchange;
- You have basic knowledge of English.
Benefits
All costs of accommodation, food, local transport and materials are covered during the whole duration of the youth exchange. The international transport for the participants coming from France and Norway is covered by the project (up to 275 EUR round trip).
