Description
The Institute for Science Education and Communication is inviting applications for Ph.D. Scholarship in Science Education.
The Ph.D. degree in science education offers candidates opportunities to undertake in-depth explorations of current research and theory in science teaching and learning across the spectrum of formal and informal education.

Eligibility
Eligible Countries: This scholarship is available for international students.
Entrance Requirements: Educational background and a recently completed master’s degree in any of the following fields:
- educational sciences, science education, natural sciences, science communication, or a related field;
- competence in research methods in the social sciences either quantitative or qualitative;
- proven excellent oral and written English skills;
- excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- eagerness to work in an interdisciplinary and international environment;
- dutch proficiency is not a requirement but it will be considered as an advantage.

Scholarship
The student will be enrolled in the Ph.D. scholarship programme and receive a scholarship of EUR 2,099 per month (gross) from the University of Groningen for a period of four years.
