Description
The FILfest is a annual festival on social businesses. This year the festival will resume its vocation for social entrepreneurship in order to understand what models may better respond to the challenges of collective global wellbeing; a result that will be achieved by twinning the festival with the project “For a Better Tomorrow: Social Enterprises on the Move (FAB-MOVE), funded by the EU Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE). The idea behind the festival is to highlight how social enterprises can successfully overcome crucial planetary challenges such as ecological renovation, natural resources management, disaster risk reduction, climate change, migratory flows. Can social enterprises meet local and global needs in order to improve social cohesion and human wellbeing in the future?
Eligibility
Social enterprises that promote innovative ideas in fields such as social agriculture, responsible consumption, recycling, and development of alternative ways for managing natural resources, waste, climate change and disaster risks.
Costs
For the social enterprises participating in the FAB-MOVE network, there are 4 grants. The grant will cover travel and living costs for 4 European social entrepreneurs.
