Description
The International Conference on Molecular Biology, Skopje is the first and the only of its kind in Macedonia, aiming to bring together the best scientists of the region and to promote and enhance collaborations on an international level. Molecular biology and genetics occupy special attention in scientific circles throughout the world. It is considered as one of the most important scientific fields. In Macedonia, this science as a research activity is in an inert state.
This one-day scientific conference will be held at the premises of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts in collaboration with the Academy. The program consists of four sessions on different topics. The main topics that will be discussed are:
- Basics and the future of molecular biology and molecular genetics;
- Medical use of genetic engineering;
- Gene therapy;
- Applied molecular genetics;
- Forensics.
Furthermore, you will get to hear from among the best of this realm, comprising lecturers from the University of Birmingham, University of Stuttgart, University of Sarajevo, University of Tirana, University of St. Cyril and Methodius, etc.
Eligibility
Students in the field of Molecular Biology, Biology, Genetics, Medicine, Pharmaceutics etc. that are studying in Macedonia are eligible to apply.
