Description

Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic, has launched an international two-round competition for the design of the city’s new rail station. Its goal is to find a solution that will be adaptable, sustainable, and of high quality, equally in terms of its architecture, urban plan and transport accessibility, and will lead to the creation of a valid and integral part of a modern European city.

The subject of the competition is the urban planning and transport solution for a new main rail station in Brno, situated in the locality below Petrov Hill, and simultaneously the formulation of a strategy for the emergence of a viable urban district corresponding to the needs and realities of the 21st and 22nd centuries.

Eligibility

Designers that have interest in developing urban planning and transport solution.

Prize

  • First Prize CZK 1,800,000;
  • Second Prize CZK 1,200,000;
  • Third Prize CZK 750,000.

How to apply?

Mandatory registration of competition participants will be done by e-mail to the competition secretary: Igor Kovačević at kovacevic@moba.nameThe registration e-mail must contain the name and contact details of the participant.

  2. I think what you posted made a lot of sense. But, think about this, what if you added a little content? I am not suggesting your information isn’t solid., however suppose you added a post title that grabbed folk’s attention? I mean Mladiinfo Brno’s New Rail Station Design Competition is a little vanilla. You could look at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create post headlines to grab viewers to click. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to get readers interested about what you’ve got to say. In my opinion, it could bring your blog a little livelier.
