The EYP Armenia is a non-partisan and independent educational project which is tailored specifically to the needs of the European and Armenian young citizens. Today the EYP is one of the largest European platforms for political debate, intercultural encounters, political educational work and the exchange of ideas among young people in Europe with patronage from the Head of the European Parliament, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, other high Representatives in the EU.

The Dilijan Academic EYP Forum (DAEF) on “The Eastern Partnership and EU: on the way to a deeper integration” under the motto „Iniatiate. Debate. Empower. Advocate. Leverage. (I.D.E.A.L.)” will take place on October 8 – 14, 2015 in Dilijan, Armenia. The DAEF will comprise teambuilding activities, committee work, Euro Concert, Euro Village, tours to Armenian monasteries and General Assembly. Around 120 delegates from 30 countries of Europe will gather together to brainstorm, challenge each other and themselves, while allocated to one of the 6 Committees on Foreign Affairs, Economic Affairs, Legal Affairs, Civil Liberties and Justice, Human Rights and Environment & Public Health.

The Academic Forum will be organized with the support of German Federal Foreign Office in the frames of BASES (Building a Strong European Society) project.

Eligibility

Delegates from all around the Europe are eligible to apply.

Costs

Organizers are covering the accommodation, meals, forum materials, transfers from Yerevan to Dilijan, tours to Armenian Monasteries. Participation fee for delegates from Armenia is 5000 AMD and 50 EUR for international delegates. 

The Best International Delegate throughout the forum will receive partial travel reimbursement.
