“Freedom of Form” Open Competition

Description

Interference Foundation, the organizer of the Interference Festival of Visual Communication Forms in Gdańsk, is currently accepting visual works for the 2015 “Freedom of Form” open competition. The Competition has four main categories and its main aim is to select the most aesthetically and creatively outstanding short visual works, both commercial and non-commercial. The categories are following:

  • Found Footage (max 5 mins);
  • Video Clips (max 10 mins);
  • Creative Advertising Piece (max 5 mins);
  • Experimental Short Visual Piece (max 8 mins).

Interference Festival 2015 is scheduled for 2-3 October 2015 in Gdańsk, Poland and the official announcement of the winners will take place during the Prize-Giving Ceremony on 3 October 2015.

Eligibility

The competition is addressed to authors of short visual pieces – professionals and non-professionals alike who are of age 18 and up.

Prizes

Ten prizes will be awarded in total, including four financial ones – Grand Prix of EUR 500 (gross value) in each category. The remaining prizes will be in kind. The Organiser introduces the following additional prizes, awarded outside the main competition:

  • Special Prize: Innovative Visuality;
  • Audience Prize;
  • Special Prize for Lifetime Achievement and Exceptional Aesthetic Sensitivity;
  • Prize for Outstanding Young Author (aged 18 to 28).
