Description
The Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Center for Business Journalism is offering Fellowships to accomplished business journalists to support in-depth, ambitious coverage of critical issues related to the global economy and business. The McGraw Fellowship provides editorial and financial support to journalists who need the time and resources to produce a significant story that provides fresh insight into an important business or economic topic. Currently, they are accepting applications for long-form print or radio pieces. They might expand to include multimedia, data and video projects in the future
Eligibility
This fellowships are only available to freelance journalists, and also reporters and editors currently working at a news organization with five or more years of experience in their work.
Fellowship
The stipend amounts US $5,000 per month for up to three months, and is intended to cover travel and research expenses incurred in reporting the stories and to assist with the Fellows’ living expenses. Where travel or other expenses are exceptionally high, organizers will consider covering additional expenses approved in advance.
