Description
The Brussels-based theparliamentmagazine.eu is an EU political news and information website, providing comprehensive real time news and analysis of the key issues and debates within the EU institutions.
The junior journalist and sub-editor’s main role is to assist in the production of the Parliament Magazine as directed by the editor. This role involves proofreading and editing commissioned copy, as well as conducting research for feature content, identifying contributors and commissioning articles for the Parliament Magazine website and print titles. The junior journalist will also produce content for the website, assist in maintaining the Parliament Magazine’s social media output.
Eligibility
- Interest in and understanding of EU process and policy;
- High standard of English and French highly desirable;
- Organisational skills;
- Writing ability;
- Computer literate;
- Video production and editing skills – desirable;
- Knowledge of Drupal – desirable.
