Description
The Program Engagement with Perspective (PEP), an initiative for young social entrepreneurs within the Ashoka framework, has reached more than 400 young social entrepreneurs from over 250 different projects. They are now organizing the IT4Change summit, a 5 day conference with 28 young social entrepreneurs from international backgrounds who are all using information and communication technologies in order to tackle societal challenges.
During this summit in the European start-up capital of Berlin, participants will come together with other young social entrepreneurs as well as with various sector experts. The support and motivation do not end with the summit. Ashoka will also provide training and coaching to assist in developing your project. Moreover, SAP is offering a matchfund of up to 14.000€ for all projects together after the October conference.
Eligibility
- Age: 16 – 27 years;
- Event language: English;
- Project making a social impact;
- Status: pilot project or beyond;
- The role of IT: essential to the project and amplifies its social impact;
- Participating countries: Central and Eastern Europe.
Costs
Travel, meals and accommodation during the whole conference from Tuesday until Sunday are covered by the organizers.
