Description
The Institute for Social and European Studies (ISES) integrates theoretical and practical studies, responds rapidly to changing social and economic conditions, and contributes at a high level to international political, social, economic and cultural life. Innovative topics, teaching methods and state of the art research provide students with the tools they need to navigate an increasingly complex, uncertain and interdependent world. ISES also organizes a summer school in Koszeg, Hungary, titled “Navigating Europe’s Future: A New Odyssey”. At the school, theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of international relations and economics, regional and global studies, political science, sociology, European culture, history and creativity is going to be provided.
Eligibility
The Summer School is open for all interested candidates. However, Master and PhD students can apply for scholarships.
Costs
The participation fee of the International Summer University is € 400 and covers the cost of tuition, meals (lunch and dinner), field trips, and social and cultural events throughout the entire program. MA and PhD students may apply to the Institute for Social and European Studies Foundation for a scholarship.

Candidates are invited to apply until 10 June 2014. The application package must include the following documents:
- Completed application form, with special attention to the motivation letter;
- Curriculum Vitae (please include information on your previous study abroad if any: programs, countries, dates attended).
