ECPR Graduate Conference – Federalism and Regionalism, Innsbruck

Description

Students, recent graduates and young researchers are kindly invited to submit proposals for Federalism and Regionalism section in ECPR Graduate Conference that will take place in Innsbruck on 3-5 July 2014. Various proposals on topics related to federalism, regionalism, decentralization, devolution of power, secession, local governance, multi-level governance, EU federalism, EU regionalization are welcome.

You may submit proposal in two ways:

  1. Submit a proposal for a panel. Panel should be about sub-topic relevant to the section’s topic and include 3-5 paper proposals.
  2. Submit a proposal for an individual paper.

The ‘Federalism and Regionalism’ section has established a cooperation with graduate journal ‘Federal Governance’ and the papers of the section will be published in the special issue of the journal.

There is also a competition for Hans Daalder Prize for most outstanding paper (voted for by participants and the chance to win €1000).

Eligibility

Proposals are accepted from graduate students and young researchers from institutions all over the world.

Costs

The registration fee is too be announced HERE. Students from ECPR full member institutions are eligible for 250 EUR funding (travel and accommodation expenses).

Application

In order to submit a proposal, you need to create MyECPR account HEREThe proposals for papers are accepted until 20 January 2014. Full papers should be submitted after 1 May 2014 but no later than two weeks before the conference.
