Editorial Assistant Internship for Macedonian Residents, Prague

Description

Under the Visegrad-Balkan Public Policy Fund – Young Researchers Programme, the Pontis Foundation (Slovakia), the Association of Czech Non-governmental Organizations – DEMAS (Czech Republic), the Foundation for Development of Democratic Rights – Demnet (Hungary), the Balkan Civil Society Development Network – BCSDN (Macedonia) and the Kosovar Civil Sociey Foundation – KCSF (Kosovo) announce the second Call for Proposal for researchers and organizations from Macedonia to participate in a undertake a project on the topic of Improving media professionalism through practical experience in Transitions. 

The intern will be placed in Transitions (TOL) which is an international publishing and media development organization based in Prague, for a period of 3 weeks. A Foreign Correspondent Training Course, from 5-14 January 2014, is part of the internship.

Eligibility

Eligible candidates are representatives of civil society organizations or individual researchers, between 20-35 years old having permanent residence in Macedonia.

Remuneration

Intern’s travel, accommodation and boarding will be provided and covered through the International Visegrad Fund. Intern is expected to cover his/her travel insurance him/herself. Internships is to start latest by 5 January 2014. Duration of internships of 3 weeks is covered by the IVF. The intern can prolong his/her stay on his/her own expense.

The deadline for receiving applications is 16 December 2013 9:00 CET.

Applicants shall submit their CV, cover letter and a filled in Application Form AVAILABLE HERE, specifying their focus area, field of expertise, motivation and expectations from the internship. The documents shall be submitted to the following e-mail address: fellowship@pontisfoundation.sk.

Applications will be evaluated by an independent selection committee by 18 December 2013 and successful candidate’s name will be announced on the website HERE and their partners’ website by 20 December 2013.
