Description
East Project is a project lead by the National Youth Council of Switzerland, on a mandate of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. The East Project have been supporting youth organizations from the Western Balkans since 1991 and is currently focusing on the non-EU countries of the region.
This year’s topic of the regional exchange meeting will be “Youth Transforming Conflict”. A conflict can occur in very different situations, and a youth organization is not exempted. During this regional meeting, the participants will therefore learn how to face diverse conflict situations, and different methods to transform it, thanks to the method developed by the “Youth Partnership” -Partnership between the European Commission and the Council of Europe in the field of youth. Especially following aspects will be tackled, aiming at improving the basic knowledge of the participants of the different kinds of conflict situation, their aptitude to react properly and to transform the conflict situation.
The meeting will take place from 31 August to 4 September 2013 in Mavrovo, Macedonia.
Eligibility
Participants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Be nominated by a youth organization in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro or Serbia
- Be aged between 18-30
- Be motivated by the topic of the event
- Be committed to take active part in the whole meeting
Costs
The Swiss National Youth Council will fully reimburse the following costs:
- Travel costs of the participants to the meeting place (up to 150 euros)
- Accomodation (4 nights, single room) and meals

Thanks for replay. Please,I have another question-Can you tell me if signature should be made by hand or is enough to be typed?I already wrote but responsible person from email is absent until 29 of July.
