The UniCredit & Universities Foundation enables young European economics and finance students to reach their true potential by financing their ongoing studies and research through several scholarships and awards.
UniCredit & Universities is launching its third Masters scholarship competition. The contest, open to students from any of the 22 countries in which UniCredit operates, is aimed to award six scholarships to attend a Master programme in Economics or Finance at one of the most prestigious universities in Europe. The universities involved in our Masterscholarship programme for the academic year 2013-2014 are the following:
- Barcelona Graduate School of Economics – 1 one-year scholarship
- Bocconi University of Milan – 1 two-year scholarship
- London School of Economics – 1 two-year scholarship
- Mannheim University – 1 two-year scholarship
- Stockholm School of Economics – 1 two-year scholarship
- Toulouse School of Economics – 1 one-year scholarship
Starting this year you can apply for a Masters scholarship at the London School of Economics to attend a Master Programme (MRes) in Economics for the academic year 2013/2014.
The scholarships will cover all documented tuition fees as well as the cost of living for the entire duration of the Master (that is, one or two years depending on the Master). The scholarship amount for the cost of living is worth a minimum of EUR 12,000 gross per year (depending on the destination country).

The contest is open to students from any of the 22 countries in which UniCredit operates: Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
Application
There is no separate application form for this scholarship. Students who wish to be considered for a UniCredit & Universities Masterscholarship award must submit a complete application for a place on the Master programme via the school website linked above indicating that they wish to be considered for one of thescholarships.
The application process instructions and deadlines vary depending on the school. Some may have already passed, so it is important for you to directly contact the universities and apply as soon as possible. Winners of the competition will likely be notified by the end of May 2013.
