Description
Together Macedonia organization is searching for 2 Macedonian volunteers for the European Voluntary Service in Romania. The project will start 1st April 2013 and will last until 31st August2013. In general volunteers will operate in digital space of Arad. From Arad area, with created messages expressed as videoblog episodes EVS volunteers will send them throughout whole Romania and Europe eventually.
Tasks
The major tasks of the volunteers are:
- create at least 10 (ten) episodes of videoblog uploaded on youtube with the help of coordinating team and under supervision of local facilitator
- create a platform of exchanging opinions regarding topics which videoblog touches and developing new projects in future; a special feature there will be introduced: proposals of topics for upcoming videoblog episodes; platform to be organised as regular blog on blog related website, to which participants contribute by discussion after subscribing;
- it will be the core of common non-formal learning; this webpage will contain exercises, energizers example, future projects proposals, workshop proposals and information about YiA and EC.
- gain or improve IT skills sufficient enough to create, moderate and update relevant for project websites and accounts
- promote non-violent communication in digital area of communication
- promote fighting against racism, xenophobia
- promote non-formal way of education
Major objectives of the projects are:
Creating on the youtube videoblog of at least 10 episodes and reaching with it at least 30 people from local neighbourhood, 50 people from all over Romania and 70 people around Europe during 5 months long stage in Arad/Romania.
Send by videoblog and the platform of exchanging thoughts and opinions clear messages which will touch topics like: being volunteer, non-formal way of education, being unemployed, addictions, excessive use of alcohol, anti-drug message, anti-smoke message, responsible and non-violent communication standards in internet, promoting European citizenship, presenting local neighbourhood of Arad and Romania, promoting YiA and European Commission in 5 months of the project.
Volunteers to learn to create in non-formal way powerful, free of violence, modern and funny in perception platform for youth of exchanging the thought, opinions, feedbacks, platform shaped as triangle of popular among young people portals: youtube, Facebook plus popular blog related website; in 5 months of the project.
Eligibility
- Candidates have to be Macedonian citizens
- Candidates have to be 18 – 30 years old
Conditions
- The accommodation will be provided within the Programme. EVS volunteers will be accommodated in the city area of Arad in private apartment.
- The volunteers will receive a food allowances – fix money amount per mount, calculated on the basis of updated food prices.
- Each volunteer will receive a monthly allowance of 60 Euro.
