Description
The European Media Art Festival in Osnabrück, Germany is one of the most important forums of international Media Art, and is an open laboratory for creative and artistic experiments that help shape media and the aesthetics of their content.
As a lively meeting place for artists, curators, lenders, gallery owners and a specialist audience, it has been instrumental in forming the themes and aesthetics of Media Art for more than 25 years.
Application
Submissions must be postmarked no later than 7 December 2012. You may register online HERE.
At your first visit, please register with your e-mail address, your own password and your personal data. A confirmation of your registration will be sent to your e-mail address. After registration you can log in with your e-mail and password and click on “Submission of work.”
Attention: Please read the regulations carefully, tick it, click on “Add a new film, installation or expanded media.” Please choose in the field “Category” if you want to submit film/video, installation or expanded media. If you want to submit a work in the field “Expanded Media” please choose additionally in the field “Specification” from the categories Expanded Cinema, Performance or Net-project.
Please fill out the application form. After that, click on “Save” at the bottom of the entry form. After you have “saved” this page the second page will appear. Here you may attach more documents and photos.
Once being registered you can submit to your account any number of films as your data and submission maintain.
Do not forget to send a copy of your work / project (DVD) for preview with the ID-Number and a print-out of the form. Please write according to your submission “Film/Video“ or „Installation“ or “Expanded Media“ on the envelope and post it not later than December 7, 2012 (date of postmark) to the European Media Art Festival, Osnabrueck.
Or: please note in the submission-form under video-link your link to Vimeo or YouTube (or others) for an online-preview. In this case you don’t have to send a DVD and a printout-of the submission-form.
