Description
The Master studies will start from February 2013 and will be organized in the SEE University premises in Skopje within the Faculty of Public Administration and Political Sciences. For students outside of Macedonia there will be opportunity for following lectures and interactive communication with professors and other students through video conference connections. The working language for this Master’s program is English.
This Master’s program aims to cover the gap in the formal education of CSO workers, activists and volunteers and to upgrade and strengthen their knowledge and skills in order to empower the Civil Society to raise its voice in overcoming the obstacles in building effective democracy in Macedonia and the region of SEE. Moreover, this program will enhance and built upon the achievement in this field from the region and share the international experience in the path of reaching positive societal changes.
Eligibility
- The program is open to applicants from Balkan countries
- according to the model 3+2 (two years) candidates undergraduate are obliged to have university diploma (verified) or equivalent to three years undergraduate studies (180 ECTS credits) or four years (240 ECTS credits).
- according to the model 4+1 (three semesters), the candidates are obliged to have undergraduate university diploma (verified), or equivalent to four years (240 ECTS credits).
Important: Candidates that have graduated in universities outside of Republic of Macedonia according to the Law on Higher Education are obliged in six months time period to verify their diploma in the Ministry of Education Sciences of RM. In case of eventual negative answer or not answering to the candidate will be terminated from their studies without any obligation by SEEU.
Scholarship
For all students enrolled in this study program for the academic year 2012/13, SEEU will grant a scholarship in amount of 500 euros per student.
How to apply?
All applicants upon application must submit the following documentation until 31 December, 2012:
1. A completed Online Application Form to the Admissions Office (Application forms are available for download on the University website and payment invoice (PP10) with the amount of 1500 MKD from:

2. Short biography in an essay or interest letter consisting at least of 500 words. Candidates should state the reason of his/her application at SEEU, and his/her expectation. The essay should be written based students on communication skills, which offer a possibility for concise and original essay, unfolding certain aspects of student’s personality characteristics, biography or interests.
3. Original university diploma (verified) and all original transcripts (diploma supplement if any) of the first cycle of studies (or notarized copies).
4. Birth certificate
5. Photocopy of identity card or passport.

Is that 500 euros per student per month? Or a student gets 500 euros only once?

As it is specified in the post, the enrolled students will be granted a scholarship in amount of 500 euros per student, meaning probably the total amount, not on monthly basis. If there is any additional information, Mladiinfo team will let you know.
