Description
La Seconda Luna Award is dedicated to people who have cultivated and pursued material or immaterial passions with outstanding results. The main goal of the Award is the promotion and enhancement of all kinds of passions: collections, obstinacies, loves, firm beliefs, special and common practices. We are not interested in one specific discipline: if your passion is your hobby, this competition is for you. If your passion is your job, again, this competition is for you.
Eligibility
The Award is open to individuals, informal groups and legal entities either resident or with registered offices in the EU or in territories within the EU (Andorra, Vatican City State, Liechtenstein, Kaliningrad Oblast, Monaco, San Marino, Switzerland), as well as to citizens of the above countries and territories living abroad.
Application
Candidates shall:
a) pre-apply on www.lifelongpassionsaward.eu, print, sign the pre-application form and send it along with the other documents requested;
b) send a copy of a valid identity document;
c) send all documented material in either paper, photographic, digital (CD or DVD) form, or any other way deemed appropriate to illustrate the candidate’s passion.
In case of audio or audiovisual material, the document should be no longer than 10 minutes in duration. Digital items shall be compatible with Windows Office, OpenOffice, Acrobat Reader, Windows MediaPlayer, RealPlayer or QuickTime software. The organizers do not guarantee that files not supported by these aforementioned software will be examined.
If the applicant is a registered corporation, the form must be filled out by its legal representative. If an informal group applies, the group coordinator must list the names and surnames of the other members of the group in the application form. Applications that are incomplete, non-compliant, or missing one or more of the abovementioned documents will not be accepted.
