Description
Analytica is a non‐profit independent institution dedicated to helping individuals and institutions with the aim to foster lasting improvement in the democracy and governance in Macedonia, the region of South Eastern Europe and wider in the European Union.
It is a unique institution ‐ public policy research organization and a “think tank”. It draws solutions to contemporary problems from the ideas, principles and traditions that make Macedonia such an important historical and geopolitical place. It is dedicated to promoting greater cooperation and understanding among the people in Macedonia, the region of South Eastern Europe and the EU.
Currently, Analytica is seeking a candidate for the position of “Researcher for Econometrics and Surveys”.
Tasks
The candidate is expected to conduct nation-wide surveys and econometric analyses.
Eligibility
Post requirements:
- Completed bachelor studies in economy, finance or business, with specialization on econometrics;
- Knowledge or experience in conducting surveys;
- Interest in conducting policy research in think tank environment;
- Previous experience or interest in conducting econometric analyses;
- Skills or interest in research methodology (especially econometric analysis);
- Ability to work in multiethnic environment;
- Command of English Language.
Venue: The post is for the position in the premises of Analytica in Skopje, Macedonia.
Duration of the contract: The post is initially until June 2013 with possibilities for extension.
