The Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program enables democracy activists, practitioners, scholars, and journalists from around the world to deepen their understanding of democracy and enhance their ability to promote democratic change.
Eligibility
- practitioners: activists, human rights advocates, lawyers, journalists, and other civil society professionals working to promote democracy or human rights
- scholars: professors, researchers, journalists, and other writers
- proficiency in English
The applicants must be from developing and/or aspiring democracies.
Fellowship
Each fellow will be awarded a monthly stipend for living expenses, plus health insurance and reimbursement for travel to and from Washington, D.C.
