An Opportunity to Become a Part of the Sarajevo Film Festival!
Each summer the streets of Sarajevo city (Bosnia and Herzegovina) are crowded with visitors from all parts of the world who come to enjoy in numerous cultural events, film screenings, parties, and all the other charms of the Sarajevo Film Festival and the city.
Why Don’t You Become a Part of It?
The Sarajevo Film Festival definitely couldn’t achieve what it did without the hardworking volunteers whose participation and voluntary work contributed to the SFF’s gaining and retaining the status of one of the most prominent film festivals in Southeast Europe.
Benefits
Voluntary work at the SFF provides you with the opportunity to freely participate in cinema screenings, concerts, parties, and other events taking place in the framework of the Festival. Of course, beside the great fun, there are also precious memories of meeting with different people that you’ll always remember with joy, as well as friendships that you’ll surely make.
Activities
Some of the jobs offered to volunteers are activities in promotion and preparation of the Festival, guests welcoming and accommodation, assistance in organisation of transportation and registration of invited guests, and organisation of cinema screenings. This all takes place in the company of your colleagues and the pleasant working atmosphere is therefore guaranteed!
How to Apply
All you have to do in order to become a volunteer of the 17th SFF is to be at least 18 years old and to complete the SFF application form!
This invitation is open until June 15th 2011, and the list of admitted volunteers will be announced after this deadline. On this occasion we shall also announce the place and time of the first meeting of the team of volunteers when we’ll inform them about all relevant details and answer all questions they might have.

unfortunately, volunteers bear their own costs.
And it is written in the application form: "(If applying from outside of Sarajevo, please indicate here if you can arrange your own travel and accommodations, since Sarajevo Film Festival does not provide this for volunteers.)"
