Tochka training course in multimedia journalism

Tochka invites journalists up to 28 years old from Russia, Germany, Eastern Europe and Central Asia to St. Petersburg for a multimedia course which concentrates on current youth subcultures, from punk to goth.

The participants will learn basics of broadcasting, take part in the master classes on creating multimedia presentations and video reporting. They will scrutinize life of various subcultural communities, create a video, record an interview, shoot a photo series and then create a video, slide presentation or write an article.

The course is funded by the community for youth exchanges. Participants should bring their own video equipment and a laptop; knowledge of German is an asset.

Travel, expenses and meals are covered by the organizers.
