Mary Trevelyan Fund for the Students in the UK from Developing Countries

Open to: students from developing countries with financial difficulties during the final year of their studies in London
Grant: not exceeding £2,000

The Mary Trevelyan Fund is a hardship fund available to students from developing countries (excludes North America, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, and all countries in the European Economic Area, plus Switzerland) who have found themselves in unexpected financial difficulties during the final year of their studies in London.

Eligibility

All applicants to the Mary Trevelyan Fund must meet the following criteria;
1. Students must be studying at a publicly funded Institution in London.
2. Students must be studying at an Institution with membership to ISH. Students must be in their final year of study.
3. Students must be from a developing country.
4. Students must be studying on a course with a relevant developmental application in their home country.
5. Students must be intending to return to their home country on completion of their course.
6. Students must be in financial need due to unexpected circumstances.

* Preference will be given to those who are members of International Students House.
* Applications will not be considered from those seeking or granted asylum in the UK.
* Applicants should not require total funding in excess of £2,000.
* Other than in exceptional circumstances, the maximum award will be a grant or a loan of up to £1,000.
