Young European of 2011

In 2011 the Schwarzkopf Foundation will award the “Young European of the Year” prize for the fifteenth time. As in previous years, the Schwarzkopf Foundation is looking for a young person between 18 and 26 years old, who has served the promotion of understanding between nations and/or European integration and has achieved exemplary success, in order to award him/her with the prize “Young European of the Year”.

Award
The award comes with a grant of € 5,000 to support a 6-month internship with a Member of the European Parliament, at a different European institution or with another European project.

Nomination procedure
The ´Young European of the Year´ will be selected after a Europe-wide nomination process. If you would like to nominate someone please fill out the nomination form.

The nomination form need to be submitted by 30th September 2010 to:

The award-winner will be chosen by a jury of personalities from the European Youth Parliament, the European Parliament, the European Commission and the Schwarzkopf Young Europe Foundation.
