Training of Trainers for Roma Youth, Spain

The Roma Civic Alliance from Romania and Nevo Parudimos association are announcing the selection of participants for the Training of Trainers (TOT) for Roma youth trainers in the field of  “Sustainable development tools and methods in trainings on human rights, social inclusion, community development and organizational management”.

The TOT it’s organized in the frame of University for Youth and Development from 12 to 19 September in the CEULAJ (Euro-Latin- American Youth Centre) from Mollina, Spain.

Objectives of the training
1. To prepare the Roma trainers in how to include the sustainable development in the human rights, social inclusion, community development and organizational management trainings
2. To create a space were young Roma trainers can act upon and acknowledge the role they play in the social inclusion process of the Roma ethnic group all around the world.
3. To create a space were the participants can share each other from they own experiences.
4. To acknowledge the connection between the Roma ethnic group inclusion process and the Millennium Development Goals, by all TOT participants
5. To plan and develop projects and/or use the new learned methodology in their daily environment.

The methods for the project activities represent non formal education. Will be used interactive methods, experiment, role-play, simulation, and others.

The participants will be involved on each step of the activities. Through the workshops they will be encouraged to be as creative as possible, to be innovative and to become part of the learning process. During the training course the participants will become active “actors” in this process.

Eligibility
The 20 participants should fulfil the following criteria:
* are between 18-35 years old;
* have deliver at least one trainings to youngsters or people which are dealing with Roma young people inclusion in the last two years on one or more of the following topics: human rights, social inclusion, community development and organizational management;
* are from Europe, Asia or South America.
* are coming from Roma youth NGO-s, or networks, or are working with Roma youngster and have strong knowledge on this topic
* have already attended at least one TOT until now
* are is interested and motivated in participating to such a training
* are is interested on experience exchange and meet new possible partners for his NGO or Network he/she is part of it.
* have develop until now at least one project related on human rights, social inclusion, community development or organizational management.

Cost
* Board and lodging are provided and paid by the organizers.
* The travel expenses from your hometown to Mollina will not be reimbursed, each participant will pay transportation costs.
* Participants should contract an insurance against all risks for their journey to/and their stay in Spain .
