  1. Hello,

My name is Ron Tourville and I am a senior at the University Of Wisconsin River Falls. My major is Land Use Planning and I plan to Study abroad in Europe for the fall semester of 2011/2012 academic year. I am hoping to find an internship in Europe so I can expand my education with this approach.

I was wondering if you would be able to help or point me in the right direction?

    1. Hello Ron,

So, Europe is quite a broad notion, but maybe this brochure will help you orient yourself in the available programmes of different European unis: http://www.landscape-ecology.org/landscape%20ecology%20i...
Take a look at if they are involved in any exchange networks.
Maybe your university has some partner institutions in Europe; ask at your uni.

There are some scholarship programmes in the US that provide students with financial support to go abroad (e.g. http://www.iie.org/en/Programs/Gilman-Scholarship… try to google them. 🙂
But also, there are exchange networks, something like German-American (e.g. http://www.daad.org/), GB-US exchanges, Sweden-US (http://www.studyinsweden.se/Scholarships/Non-SI-scholarships/), Dutch-US (http://www.thenaf.org/programs/B7D25E1DBE/Education%20Programs.html) and so forth.

And for the internship: have you tried to look for them here: http://www.europlacement.com/en/
      or http://www.internshipinlondon.com/internship-in-l
Or when you come to Europe, you will be able to arrange it on the place.

Hope I have helped you in orientation.

      Best,

      Kristina,
      Mladiinfo
