Internship in Intel, Ireland

Internships in the Digital Health Group at Intel – Ireland 2010

The world’s health and social care systems are rarely out of the news.
Healthcare reform in the United States and elsewhere, rapid population
ageing, and the rise of chronic diseases remind us of the huge
challenges to the status quo of the medical and care professions as well
as individuals’ own personal management of health and wellness.

What roles can technology play in shaping how individuals, communities,
care professional governments and nations address these issues? During
an internship with the Intel Digital Health Group you can play a part in
research working towards solutions which address some of the challenges
ahead.

The Product Research and Innovation team of Digital Health Europe is
looking for 2 interns in the fields of design and social science.
Interns will spend between 9 and 11 months with the team.

To date, interns in this group have been integrated into a range of
local and international projects and can expect to join
multidisciplinary teams of technologists, social scientists, business

design prototyping into application. Our aim is to give interns a
central position in projects. Internships are paid positions.
