Description
The call for participants for the 4th edition of Ethnology Without Borders, which will take place at the Warsaw University in October 2015 (probably 7-10 October) has been opened. Current edition will bear the name of “Post-future? Rethinking Postsocialism in Central Eastern Europe” and will try to take a new approach on Postsocialism, as a lense through which you look at the context of your anthropological research. Does your research concern Central or Eastern Europe? Three days of workshops, with strong emphasis on methodology, will offer young researchers an opportunity to reconsider their fieldwork in the context of postsocialist studies. Various activities in the city space, academic prelections, and critical movie screenings will be proposed. The main aim is to create a platform for exchanging and sharing experiences through the perspective of Postsocialism.
Eligibility
Project is dedicated for students from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland, but contributions from students from other countries working on postsocialism are welcomed.
Costs
The costs for accommodation will be covered by organizers.
